Real Estate Career Scholarship for Veterans (RECS4V)

A 6-month scholarship pilot program from August 1 through December 31, 2017, effective August 1, 2017.

Entities (Parties):

Keller Williams Realty Sonoran Living (KWRSL) - Scottsdale/Paradise Valley, is a Keller Williams Realty franchise with 200 agents. The Operating Principle is Barry Kramer. Serving as the program principle liaison is Alexia Bertsatos of Keller Williams Realty Sonoran Living.

Support Education and Employment for Vets (S.E.E.4Vets) - Scottsdale, is an AZ non-profit, 501 (c) (3) with the mission to accelerate support of men and women who have served our nation in uniform as productive members of the civilian community, including the pursuit of academic or certification goals, and greater opportunity to succeed and advance in the workplace. The chairman of the board is Ray Torres and the main contact for S.E.E.4Vets.

The Veteran's Directory (TVD) is a subsidiary of Maricopa County Community College Foundation. TVD is an organization created for Veterans, by Veterans and supporters to provide them a comprehensive directory of services. Founded in Phoenix, AZ, TVD identified the need for a modern, easy to use service directory that puts Veteran and their family members in touch with precious resources. 


RECS4V is a pilot program with one of the key goals to improve a Veteran's opportunity for greater earnings. Over time, they will have the opportunity to improve their standard of living. The other goal is for a Veteran to enroll and actively attend real estate school in the greater Phoenix Metro area, receive their real estate license and write their first contract (list a home) during the pilot program period. Fiduciary Accountability:

S.E.E.4Vets provides funding to Keller Williams Realty Sonoran Living and the latter reimburses the selected candidate once all terms of the Real Estate Career Scholarship for Veterans program (RECS4V) are complete.
