4 Paws for Ability

To honor the many service men and women who are still suffering from the conflicts of war, 4 Paws for Ability will be making service/assistance dogs available to help them lead a more independent life. 4 Paws has selected to assist Veterans with mobility problems or hearing loss resulting from combat injuries. The disability may be a loss of a limb, balance issues, spinal injury, deafness, or other. Angel Airlines for Veterans will provide round-trip airfare free of charge for any financially stressed, wounded veteran. AFCEA awards Merit-based scholarships of varying amounts to persons on Active Duty in the uniformed military services, to honorably discharged U.S. military Veterans (including Reservists and National Guard personnel) who are currently enrolled and attending classes part time or full time in an eligible STEM major degree program at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S (see eligibility section paragraph 4 for list of acceptable STEM majors).
